Uvita Costa Rica Sunset Elopement | Kura Boutique Hotel Venue
When I was asked to photograph T & J’s sunset elopement at the Kura Boutique Hotel in Uvita, Costa Rica it was the EASIEST YES I’VE EVER GIVEN—and you’ll see why…
This Costa Rica wedding & event venue is one of the most stunning locations I have ever visited (and please quote me on this) * in my life *
From the view that overlooked the entire ocean, to the dense jungle surrounding us at every corner, and the calm and quiet atmosphere from being so high up in elevation (not to mention the craziest bathroom design that I’ve ever experienced—we’ll get to that😂) this venue checked off absolutely everything!
It was just me, T + J, Warner (our amazing officiant), and this absolutely beautiful flower altar atop this magical rooftop. Talk about intimate!
While Warner was guiding the ceremony, and T + J were looking gorgeous as ever, I snapped away at all the small moments happening…the excitement, nervousness, love.♥
And then something funny happened that I totally missed due to being so focused on the photos BUT—the laughter was indeed captured!😆
SO cute.
Then, rings were exchanged, and a kiss was shared.🥰
Now it was time for the bridal portraits + newlywed couple shoot!
We had so much fun venturing down to the pool, popping some champagne, enjoying the sunset, getting creative shots in their square spiral staircase, and ending off the evening surrounded by the lush greenery of Kura Boutique’s garden pathway.🌴📸

Then we ventured to their square spiral staircase that I just had to incorporate in T + J’s photo session!
Not only were the views at Kura Boutique Hotel stunning, but the architecture and the design of the whole property were as well.✨
I intentionally kept these photos dark-ish while editing because I wanted to compliment all the bright and whimsical sunset pictures with some more moooody feels (which happen to be my favorite😆).
Oh, and before I forget—the BATHROOM SITUATION…
