Today’s blog post is all about Jair & Alondra’s surprise proposal & engagement photoshoot—their special day turned out absolutely beautiful along Oregon’s moody coastline!
Here’s their story…
When Jair first reached out to me, he was looking to plan a perfect surprise coastal proposal session for him & his girlfriend, Alondra, for their 5 year anniversary.
Although Cannon Beach was definitely on the list of locations to choose from, we chose a hidden gem along the coastline with muchhh less people!
I arrived to our spot early, dropped my pin location to Jair, and then started setting up our cute little “Marry Me” sign with a piece of driftwood behind it to prop the letters up.🥹
Then it was time to wait! Once I saw them making their way down the sandy path, I tried to act as inconspicuous as possible sitting there with my lil camera around my neck (lol).
I think she might’ve noticed me given the photo above ;)
The proposal itself couldn’t have turned out better—the jagged rocks in the background, the mist, the mixture of sunny + overcast sky, the emotion.
After they had their special moment, I finally went over to introduce myself, and from there we ran around the beach together capturing the absolute high of love that they were feeling!
